Started with a bang on a popular YouTube channel, jamming out covers of pop hits and then skyrocketed to rocking sold-out arenas with their own tunes. Against The Current, hailing from Poughkeepsie, USA, grew up in the limelight and over the past decade, they’ve amassed a dedicated fan base – their show at Amsterdam’s Melkweg was a total sell-out in November. Fronted by vocalist Chrissy Costanza, alongside guitarist Dan Gow and drummer Will Ferri, they’re all about delivering catchy pop-punk vibes and energetic pop-rock tunes with a killer pop sound. Back in 2017, they hit it big with the power ballad ‘Legends Never Die’ featured in a League Of Legends game, and both ‘In Our Bones’ and ‘Past Lives’ albums are packed with hits that’ll get you dancing or headbanging just as easily.
