Frontman Rivers Cuomo poured all his teenage frustrations into alt-rock songs on The Blue Album in 1994, instantly finding a massive audience. While the world danced to Buddy Holly, he took a break to go back to school—but luckily, the rocker returned. Weezer has since released fifteen albums packed with college rock hits like Island In The Sun, Beverly Hills, and Hash Pipe, and even scored big with a cover of Toto’s Africa.
