The Haunted Youth

One of the most exciting up-and-coming bands from Netherlands’ southern neighbours is undoubtedly The Haunted Youth. The group, centred around 27-year-old Joachim Liebens, was the instant indie darling of Belgium and the Netherlands, straight from the release of their first single in 2021. The music of The Haunted Youth is a kind of melancholic psych-pop with a harrowing edge. The end of last year saw the release of their debut album Dawn Of The Freak. The catchy single Teen Rebel turned out to be an instant hit: a brilliant, timeless pop tune you feel you’ve known for years.
