The Driver Era

Sometimes your gut can be an excellent guide… This was definitely the case for Ross Lynch and his brother Rocky four years ago, when the pair were members of the successful pop rock formation R5. They had the feeling of being trapped in a conceptual straitjacket, so they decided to leave the LA band to embark on a new project. Fortified by a sense of regained freedom and new energy, The Driver Era was born, and a platform the brothers claim allows them to better explore their own boundaries and those of their creativity. It turned out to be a solid move, because with their new indie pop-based sound, the duo has quickly conquered the hearts of an ever-expanding fan base, who effortlessly sing along to all the band’s steadily growing list of hits during their spectacular live shows.
