SERA became known in early 2020 through viral videos on TikTok and Instagram, where she sings covers of well-known hits from her ‘safe space’: her car. Millions of views, likes, followers and a short time later there was no denying this is what she wanted to do: SERA starts writing its own music. Debut single ‘Only Us’ marked her breakthrough and with follow-up ‘Take A Chance’ she established her name in the media. It didn’t stop there: with her latest single ‘Head Held High’, SERA currently scores her biggest hit ever. ‘Head Held High’ is an anthem about choosing your own path, about persevering when you want something and really believe in something, especially when you encounter opposition.
