Queens of the Stone Age

It’s not all that often that artists get to celebrate an anniversary at this festival in between the hills of Limburg. The rockers of Queens of the Stone Age join an illustrious list of acts that have been asked back to make the Pinkpop terrain tremble and shake for a fifth time. The catchy riffs, masterful guitar solos and impressive vocals of frontman Josh Homme are of course still the band’s razor-sharp weapons of choice. According to guitarist Jesse Hughes, the California band are soon set to release the successor to the seventh studio album Villains, which came out five years ago, meaning that in addition to classics such as No One Knows and First It Giveth, we’ll also get to hear a few new songs from the band at this festive Pinkpop anniversary …
