Nova Twins

They may look like a girl pop outfit at first glance, but make no mistake, this British duo plays butt-kicking songs with pounding drums, thundering bass and screaming guitars. Nova Twins consists of singer/guitarist Amy Love and bassist Georgia South, and was founded in 2014. Their first single went by the snappy title Bassline Bitch, and the ladies were picked up by an indie label, resulting in their debut EP Nova Twins in 2016. They toured with Prophets of Rage and Skunk Anansie, and released two albums: Who Are The Girls? in 2020, and Supernova last June. Be careful not to get blown away by their performance, because, as someone wrote as a comment to the group on YouTube: ‘This slaps harder than my mother after realizing the last of her chocolate was eaten by me.’
