MADOUX

Madoux makes dark and dreamy alt-pop songs inspired by artists such as Ane Brun, London Grammar and Oscar & the Wolf. The winner of the Limburg Pop Prize and the opener of Pinkpop 2023 brings a mix of acoustic instruments and deep electronics layered with her distinctive, ethereal and enchanting vocals. This spectacular combination makes for a sensational live show. Madoux will present her new singles next spring, which will be followed by a new EP in the fall of 2023.

Madoux (living in Maastricht) has in recent years been picked up by Popronde, 3FM and she was artist in residence at the ECI in Roermond, among others. Last year she played shows throughout the Netherlands, including at Bruis festival, Poppodium Nieuwe Nor and Bevrijdingsfestival Limburg. She also shared the stage with Meskerem Mees and the Haunted Youth, among others. This summer she toured Spain and France with Enter the Wave. The talented Limburgian also played at Matthijs Gaat Door and in the broadcast of Giel Beelen.
This winter, Madoux will enter the studio with Pieterjan Coppejans (known from Eefje de Visser, among others) to work on new music. This is made possible by the Makersregeling of Pop in Limburg and Fonds Muzikantendag
