If there’s one Dutch artist with a knack for churning out catchy tunes with a sunny side, it’s Martijn ‘Tienus’ Konijnenberg; after all, who can forget the bright Top 10 smash Wonderwoman with his old band Leaf? Konijnenberg has been active as a singer-songwriter for some years; writing songs for Anouk and Van Velzen, but he was also the composer behind Norwegian DJ and remixer Kygo’s global hit Firestone. His latest project goes by the name Goldkimono, whose debut album The Legend Of Goldkimono was released last year. His years of California living shine through in the laid-back pop songs that are infused with influences from indie, hip-hop, electro and reggae.
