Ellie Goulding

British pop singer Ellie Goulding stormed onto centre stage in the music scene in 2010 when she was named BBC Sound of 2010, and immediately picked up a prize at the Brit Awards. Her debut album from that year, Lights, immediately shot to number 1 and went platinum, which meant Ellie got off to a flyer… She travelled as support act for John Mayer, Katy Perry and Bruno Mars among others, but she has of course been doing her own tours for some time now. After her first album (also reissued as Bright Lights), she released three more, and the fifth is in the pipeline for next year, which will go by the title Higher Than Heaven. At Pinkpop, the entire terrain will undoubtedly reverberate with what is her biggest hit so far: Love Me Like You Do, from the Fifty Shades Of Grey soundtrack, which everyone knows.
