Time and again, the musicians of Editors know how to tweak their unmistakable sound just enough to lend a touch of newness, which is why the British band have been asked to return to take the stage at Pinkpop for the seventh time. With some six excellent albums to their name, they’ve truly earned their spot at each edition in Landgraaf. The latest album by Tom Smith and his fellow band members, called EBM, once again shows how the band moves in line with the times. The discernible electronic influences were undoubtedly inspired by the recently added sixth band member Benjamin John Power, also known as Blanck Mass. On Friday, 16 June, we can see and hear how the band will repackage those beats in a show of outstanding musicality.
