Come on, do the rockers of DI-RECT even need the introduction? The band, who are originally from The Hague, have been at the top of the Dutch music scene for over 20 years, scored no less than 26 Top 40 hits, and picked up three gold records along the way. In addition, the quintet was awarded five Edisons, the 2021 Popprijs (Pop Prize), and the Gouden Notekraker (Golden Nutcracker). DI-RECT have played all the major stages in the Netherlands, and well beyond its borders. Even during the Covid pandemic, the group effortlessly managed to sell thousands of tickets for their live streams. Their latest album Wild Hearts is another eclectic record packed with raw power. Pinkpop brought in the band to play at the very start of their career, and this year will be their fourth time at the festival. Expect another vibrant rock show with full-blooded dedication and passion.
